ProAxis Tax & Accounting Services was founded with a straightforward belief: that small and mid-sized businesses in New Jersey deserve the same caliber of proactive, strategic financial guidance that large corporations take for granted — delivered in a modern, accessible format that fits how business owners actually work today.
Based in Hasbrouck Heights in Bergen County, we set out to build a CPA firm that was fundamentally different from the traditional model. Where traditional accounting firms schedule a tax appointment once a year and disappear until the next April, ProAxis operates as a year-round partner. Where traditional firms require clients to come in with shoeboxes of receipts, ProAxis uses secure digital workflows, cloud-based accounting platforms, and encrypted document portals to make the process seamless. Where traditional firms staff engagements with unlicensed preparers and use the senior CPA only for review, ProAxis ensures that licensed CPA expertise is present throughout every client relationship.
