Choosing a CPA is a high-trust decision. Most prospective clients have never worked with a CPA firm before, and the difference between a good firm and the wrong fit is hard to evaluate from the outside. Reviews from real clients are how the rest of the market learns what working with a particular firm actually looks like.
Google reviews carry particular weight because they are visible directly in Google Search and Google Maps results when someone is looking for a CPA in Bergen County, the rest of New Jersey, New York, or Pennsylvania. A potential client searching "Bergen County CPA" or "tax accountant Hasbrouck Heights" sees the ProAxis Business Profile alongside its star rating and recent reviews. That snapshot influences whether they reach out for a free consultation or scroll past.
Each review also helps ProAxis improve. The team reads every review — positive and critical — and uses the feedback to refine onboarding, communication, and engagement scoping. If something about your experience could have gone better, naming it specifically in a review (or directly via email) is the most useful gift a client can give the firm.
Google reviews are public and indexed by search engines. Please do not include sensitive personal information such as your full name (initials and first name are fine), Social Security number, account numbers, or details that could be used to identify a third party. Reviews mentioning specific dollar figures (refunds obtained, taxes saved) are fine but reflect that individual client's situation only — every taxpayer's facts differ, and a result obtained for one client is not a guarantee, prediction, or warranty of any specific result for any other client. ProAxis cannot edit or remove a review you post; only Google or the reviewer can do that. If you posted a review and want to update it, sign back into the same Google account, find the review, and use the edit option.
Yes. Google requires a Google account to post a review. Any account works — a personal Gmail address, a Google Workspace account, or even an account created just for the review. If you do not already have a Google account, the sign-up takes about two minutes from the review form itself.
Sixty to ninety seconds for most clients. Click the button above, sign in if you are not already, choose a star rating, write a sentence or two about your experience, and click Post. Longer reviews are welcome but not required — even a brief honest review is genuinely useful to other prospective clients.
Yes. Google reviews are public and display the reviewer's Google account name (or whatever name the reviewer has set on that account). ProAxis can see all public reviews on its Business Profile but cannot see your private Google account information, contact details, or any data you have not chosen to display. If you prefer to share feedback privately, email info@proaxiscpa.com or call (201) 800-2330 instead.
No. Only the original reviewer (you) or Google itself can remove or modify a review. ProAxis can publicly respond to a review through the Business Profile dashboard, and does so for many reviews. If you posted a review and later want to update or delete it, sign back into the Google account you used, navigate to your review, and use the three-dot menu next to the review.
Honest negative feedback is welcome. Before posting publicly, ProAxis appreciates the chance to address concerns directly — often the underlying issue is a communication gap or scope misunderstanding that can be resolved quickly. No. ProAxis does not pay for reviews, offer discounts in exchange for reviews, or condition any service on a review being posted. Doing so would violate Google's review policies and the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct. Reviews requested through this page or through follow-up emails are voluntary and unconditional.
